Prime Time- Outsiders Bear Country

Have you ever heard of the show called Prime Time- Outsiders? It is about people doing things that people don't usually do. One Prime Time i was watching was about a seventy year old man who lived in a log cabin out in the woods. He called where he lived Bear Hollaway. He called it this because he finds wild bears and feeds them and lets them into his home to gain there trust. He names each one of them and they always come back to him. He has been attacked before by a bear but the conditions were not bad, he just had to get stitches in one hand. He gains the bears trust so much that the mother bears will actually let him go near, and pet there baby cubs. Now most people think of this man as crazy. He explains though that humans are more dangerous than bears. If you take away a bears freedom they will attack. If you feed them and pet them, but do not try to cage them then they are not dangerous. Yes, he lets the bears actually go into his home, but he's not making them go in his home, he's not evan making them come back to Bear Hollaway. The bears choose to come back because the man is loving and caring and feeds them.

(Do not attempt it is very dangerous)

The Bear

The bear puts both arms around the tree above her And draws it down as if it were a lover And its choke cherries lips to kiss good-bye,Then lets it snap back upright in the sky.Her next step rocks a boulder on the wall(She's making her cross-country in the fall). Her great weight creaks the barbed-wire in its staples As she flings over and off down through the maples,Leaving on one wire moth a lock of hair.Such is the un-caged progress of the bear. The world has room to make a bear feel free; The universe seems cramped to you and me. Man acts more like the poor bear in a cage. That all day fights a nervous inward rage. His mood rejecting all his mind suggests. He paces back and forth and never rests. The me-nail click and shuffle of his feet,The telescope at one end of his beat And at the other end the microscope,Two instruments of nearly equal hope, And in conjunction giving quite a spread.Or if he rests from scientific tread,'Tis only to sit back and sway his head Through ninety odd degrees of arc, it seems,Between two metaphysical extremes. He sits back on his fundamental butt With lifted snout and eyes (if any) shut,(lie almost looks religious but he's not),And back and forth he sways from cheek to cheek,At one extreme agreeing with one Greek. At the other agreeing with another Greek Which may be thought, but only so to speak. A baggy figure, equally pathetic When sedentary and when peripatetic

Hey! Are you bored? Or do you not have anything to do? Well here are some boredom busters..............

1.) Play with your pet (if u don't have a pet than go to the pet store and play with one of the stores animals)

2.) Go outside and get some exercise! Ride your bike to your friends house, jog to the park, walk to your friends house or the park, run around your block, skate, or even play basket ball with your neighbor. ( if any of these seem boring then listen to your ipod while running or biking or.....)

5.) Cook some tasty treats for u and your family to enjoy! or Surprise your parents by cooking dinner for the whole family......

6.) Hangout with your brother/ sister for the day.

7.) Get your friends together and host a fashion show for your other friends and neighbors. Have a fee of two dollars per kid and three dollars per adult. All the money you make donate to an animal shelter.

8.) Clean your room! It may not be fun but it gives you something to do and you'll be glad to have a clean room!

9.) Offer to mow your neighbors lawn for free.

10.) If you are old enough then get a job! Jobs don't have to be all hard and boring they can be really fun!!!

1.) Babysitting is a good way to make money! Kids who babysit usually charge 4 to 5 dollars an hour or 3 dollars per kid if there is more than one child you are watching. If you know one of your neighbors is going on vacation offer to watch there house which includes getting the mail, watering any plants if they have some, taking out the trash on trash day, feed any pets if they have one, EC.. (anything else they may ask you) Charge around 1 to 2 dollars a day depending on all you are doing for them while they are gone.

4.)This job needs more responsibility but is still a good job that will get you some dough. This job is pet sitting. If you know someone will be gone and will need a pet sitter offer to watch there pet(s) for five dollars a day per pet.

The Disgusting Insect

Probably the most disgusting insect would be the Potato Bug also known as the Jerusalem Cricket. Be careful if you ever come across one of these buggers because they don't just bite they gnaw. I was on a website and came across an article talking about Potato Bugs coming from Mars. Believe it or not...... No one really knows for sure. Send in your comments about what you think about the Potato Bug and Mars.

Be careful and look out for these critters if you have a garden because they love gardens and they can be pesky and hard to get rid of. It is said that they eat peoples cheeks. I am not for sure though. Scary critters. They can give people horrible nightmares.

There are 35 species of potato bugs in the world. You would not want one of these buggers as your pets.
